Dude went Bankrupt in 2015(I still dont understand how he blew $70 Million USD), and in 2017 he took the "Standalone Challenge" in the launch video for the X. He definitely got it for free.

I’m not completely sold on that video.

One of the comments state the vid probably lost resolution due to being reposted and I can understand that point too. It could be the reason when zoomed in I see so many blurred spots that cause me to doubt it.

Than please wait until more leaks are being dropped or untill there is an official announcement.

Same! At the end if the day, this is how I feel. ^^

I've already got a Force as well as an MPC Live II, and their form factor works for me much better (absolutely love the portability of the Live II). But I'm not going to hate on a keyboard workstation version of the MPC - I'm glad to see the product line grow and potentially bring in new users that desire this sort of workflow. Akai are just trying to take a slice of the Roland Fantom/Yamaha MODX crowd market, and you can't slight them for that. They have a great OS on their hands already and more is coming, so it should be easy to translate to a 61-key workstation. :worthy: Also, I'm willing to wager that Scott Storch photo/video are 100% real - he has a previous history with Akai and we all know music gear companies love industry celeb endorsements. He may have been reckless in blowing his fortune on cocaine and other bad life choices, but his music cred is undeniable.

The screen needs to tilt. No one wants to sit over the screen.

One thing that’s for sure is that the part we’re the screen sits in is tilted at an angle.

Yeah. Unfortunately they don't seem to be interested in any input. All details of this design seem to have been decided on a long time ago.
