I now its over kill but was toying with MPC ONE or The Circuit Rhythm, just wanted something i could use without a PC, from a arm chair so to speak. I went for the Circuit Rhythm as it seemed to make sense, no power, small, light etc. however the main driver is I had a budget of 400 pound and didn't really want to put 200 on my CCard. however after 1 evening i felt regret. Just felt like a sequencer, i want to hit a beat lol. Thus i found more stuff to sell and have the option to return the CR and purchase the MPC One.

I know the MPC one is over kill for me, I have a piano, cant play, have owned Maschines and Push 2 in the past, however when i want something i always look to sell something. [only way i can justify to other half].

I assume i can plug the MPC one in and attach a set of headphones and use it. can some one please confirm if this is the case. I simply want to play and hopefully make beats etc, no one else needs to hear it or would want to.

So can i simply add power and headphone and play .

Would also welcome advice if you feel I'm going over the top with the MPC One, just note I have raised cash by selling, so in a way it isn't costing me anything, the extra money would only disappear. Likewise down the road i will probably sell to buy something else

@ vicsalt, yep earphones work fine. mpc is a great machine. it's hard to learn but if you like learning everything there is to learn about an object it will keep you busy and happy for a long time.

right out of the box all the sounds are next level just watch a couple videos and you'll be making beats in no time, sounding better than ever before. you dont have to be a musician to make music on am mpc, just remember a bit of math.
