Does anybody know if Its possible to setup up a condenser mic with an mpc one while in controller mode? I tried doing it with a phantom power source and a XLR to 1/4 adaptor running the left input but I wasn’t getting any signal.

Yes should work fine, assuming you've boosted the mic signal to line level. Make sure you've set the MPC One as the 'input' in Preferences > Audio within the MPC Software. You'll also need to configure an audio track or the sampler to accept and monitor the incoming mic signal.

I‘d suggest using a mic preamp for that - at least that‘s what they are for.
