I feel same, most people just gloss over the internal mpc efx and go “meh” without even trying. The efx are AWESOME and people just need to take time to use them. I have ext efx too but I’ve not had to use them in a long period of time.

Yes Live and X can send /return fx. One doesn’t have individual outs for this (sends).

I think some users want a One Stop Already Tweaked Magic Reverb/EQ Preset. That's How they determine if the Effects are Trash or Not.

A Couple Tweaks to a Preset can Make any Sample Sound Good! Same goes for EQing

I use a Neunaber Immerse as external reverb through output 3/4 (send).
It' just fantastic.
You can then make the send return to external input or to a mixer.
If you use a mixer as I do, you also have another 5/6 output to use as another send external effect (delay or whatever).
