I had an idea for something like this back in 2015-2016ish. It was very similar in layout and functionality. Then MPC live was released (I was the one that leaked that one lol) and I was hyped but still wanted to invent my idea. Of course I am no engineer just a dreamer so I sat on the design and idea and it never saw the light of day. With that said, I am VERY excited that Akai is doing something like this! And depending on the reviews, I will definitely be getting one. I can't think of a better company than Akai to make a keyboard groove box! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D .

Looks like a April or June pre oder and release in August or September like when the X dropped... got to see what the hype is because I own the X and don't see the need as of yet.. but u never know..

It's the same thing but w/ keys. 16 q-links could sway people towards a purchase too.

I agree - just attaching a keyboard isn't going to wow people, there needs to be more. I'm keeping my hopes up for polyphonic aftertouch :hmmm:

I originally thought people would see it this way too but reading here and other places there seems to be a market for people buying the same thing they already have….

Funny you say that because most of use had once posted on maschine forum and all they do is recycle over and over again instead of focusing on what we want...
