hello given that we are limited to 10 plugin programs (instrument) per project, is there the possibility of using 1 plugin program (and selecting different presets in it) to use them on several tracks of a same project? (for example can I use 2 different hype presets on two different tracks of a project?

Can't say I've run into this, because I don't use a lot of plugins, but always assumed it was possible to do program changes. (Also, it's limited to 8 plugins, not 10).

NOPE.

Another oversight...

you can load loads of plugin instruments. Op mentioned hype ..... I've just loaded 20 different instances of hype, each their own program, no problems.

CPU didn't like it though  but I only loaded them all to check if there was a limitation.

can you explain to me how you do it please? here is what is happening on my side:
-track1: tube synth (static supersaw)
- I created my track 2, always with tube synth (which is set automatically) and when I modify the preset (smooth n tight) for example, track 1 goes "smooth n tight) ...

also I understand that we can actually only have 8 (and not 10) different plugin programs

You need to create a new plugin program, otherwise both tracks will point to the same program, and if you modify settings on one it will modify it on the other.

Try naming the program, that way you'll know what you have loaded as a plugin for each track.

Don't know what you guys are talking about. It clearly only allows 8 unique plugin programs, and even has a dedicated window popup telling you it's maxed out. We are likely talking about different things. I'm not one that enjoys just sitting around arguing on the internet, so I'd love to know how you have 20 unique instances of hype with different presets running.

By simply loading them. I'm on MPC one, controller mode.

No amount of "controller mode" allows selecting the internal plugin program presets VIA program change at first place. So your (disingenuous) assertion doesn't even answer the OP's question.
