iRig BlueBoard and MPC LiveII

Hello all, first post:
I have this iRig BlueBoard sitting around and was hoping to put it to good used with my MPC Live II. I have sucessfully paired it with bluetooth so now what?
The BlueBoard can send out midi CC or program change messages. I am hoping to start/stop transport and activate overdub/record for looping with a guitar or bass. (both hands busy).
It has 4 programable buttons and inputs for external controllers such as CV type volume pedals.

did you succeed?
I took a Airturn BT200/s-2 paired successfully with the my MPC live, I get the midi signals from the 2 footswitches but I don't know how to assign them to PLAY and STOP
