Leave the videos, try out the demo. I liked the demo but the original price of 249 was a bit too much for me. At 99, this is a no-brainer.

Tried the demo and this works well with the MPC X.

Subjective:
It's OK. It brings some nice things to the table, but I couldn't see much difference between the various fabric flavours

I wouldn't purchase it, especially not at the price it's selling for. Hype is free and gives a lot of mileage. Mpc is first and foremost a sampler /midi production centre,and the plugins are a nice free bonus.
The fm synth is a worthy purchase, but again not at that price.

Again, subjective. I know some people get very upset about the paid plugins.

At $249 USD, I always thought it was grossly overpriced. At $99 USD, it's certainly in the realm of being more realistic, but for what you get - I still feel it's a little high. Personally I'd gamble and wait for the Black Friday sales to kick in at the end of November. The fact that Fabric XL (which, honestly, that's what you're paying for here) is now on sale for more than half-off it's launch price at leasts proves that they're willing to do sales now on the new plug-in's.

I'd wager it will go on sale during Black Friday for at least $99 USD, but possibly lower, so you likely have nothing to lose by waiting.

Weird. Not sure why Pink Buddha said it was "every preset". There's over 1200 presets in Fabric XL, and that video certainly wasn't 1200+ preset demos! I'm thinking this is the "Preview" bank.

Even 100$ for it would be overpriced but that's ok.

Akai is doing the Akai.what anybody that has some mileage with them should have expected.

OPx-4 is absolutely fantastic. Saved me from buying a Korg Opsix, anyway. I'd wager it'll go on sale during Black Friday.
