First of all I am really sorry for what happened here

Since I was part if it I think an apology is in order

What I would really love to see has been said multiple times already. And I wouldn’t say no to almost all of them.
But HW wise for me it boils down to:
* better screen: does not have to be bigger by a lot. Maybe by 1inch? But more precise when doing gestures would be nice and not that wobbly. I find the 7inch displays of the other machines so much nicer to use for some reason.
* faster CPU that is fast enough to drive a fully equipped 32/32 interface with good latency and still enough power for my SW wishes (see below)
* maybe some ram options (8, 16, 32GB)
* The same amount of inputs as outputs
* clickwheel: since I have a One and even tried the force I find leaving the jog for an ok button really clunky - or replace the jog with a trackball at the same position and add mouse support that way
* I dunno if I need 16 qlinks but maybe 8 like in the Force is enough if they also bring the Force mixer?
Maybe they even make the new X modular? So in the future you just replace the SoC-board and have more power and don’t need to buy a new MPC when you still are happy with your current one. But that is expensive I think.
Sometimes I am not sure if there should be a real hard line between the MPC and the force. except for some SW advantages of the Force (see below) I often envy the 64 pads it has: no bank switching with multiple samples, easier access to multiple octaves on the machine itself. The sequencing features it brings. But this is a different story for maybe a new Force and not an MPC. After all the MPC is the MPC and not the Force.
Most wishes are with software though:
* bring the mixer gui of the force inkl insert and master automation/fx
* things a faster CPU and more ram will make possible for sure:
* graphic EQs, shaper etc
* 16-20 audio tracks of unlimited length through disk streaming
* more than 8 internal Synths at the same time
* an arranger like the force but in addition to the current song mode. Where I can record my audio in for my downmix
* the X has a billion knobs but still not all convenience features are mapped to knobs. Why can’t I select notes in grid mode and press Delete to delete them for example? This eraser button feature just makes me curse way to often.
* different track length does loop the bars graphical as well. This yellow line and the track that just keeps running was a bad design choice imho.
* a real loop function with loop markers that’s intuitive to use.
* automation that can be created as a single segmentable line (like in Live for example)
Maybe more but these feel the most pressing when I think about it.
Edit: way to big fingers for that small keyboard
