Live II 32 Virtual output problem in Logic Pro.

Hi

I am only given the option in Logic to open the Live II Plugin with either Mono, Stereo or 5.1. I have the 32 channels ticked on the Live II and I have set up in Ableton no problem, so I assume it's something within Logic?

Is Logic new on your Mac ?
It may have to do with permissions to use the external audio hardware.

Yes it is, just installed last week.

Would you happen to know where I can alter the permissions

It‘s in Control Panel, Security (the house icon), Microphone.
Logic should appear in the list, possibly without a checkmark.
If it is already checked, then... , otherwise just check it.

The only house sign I can find in security is FileVault and it doesn't present any options other than on and off?

Then you’re on the right dialog. Click the rightmost button.
On left side a list will appear, scroll down to the mic icon and click it.
Then on the right a list of audio related apps appears, each with a checkbox to either grant or retract permission.
(I‘m on a German version of Monterey)

ps: if you don‘t see that rightmost button, log in as admin.
