Perhaps this forum isn't the right place to use as a means of expressing your disdain with society.

As an alternative, have a google search for local 'meet ups' where you can find equally as depressed people to meet up with, share an ethically sourced organic chai and ruminate over the various reasons you find to be offended about.

Yeah we just gonna have to go to MPCStuff or that IG guy for different knobs....

DO NOT click on my video just look at my MPC X photoshop idea.
My colorway would work best with those knobs

Question..... Now that the LINK port is there can you sync the MPC Key 61 and the MPC XL together to start/stop/clock/song position matching? Good job InMusic! Now just add the Scaler 2 and Serato Studio/Sample sampler features and I will purchase both and sell my X. 8)

After looking at those images properly, I'm starting to think it's all a fake mock-up. The name of the unit is obscured in all of the images (if it's just XL...why?) and having the old logo makes no sense when that was the logo for the Japanese AKAI and inmusic would want to keep branding the same as on the Key61 which has the newer logo.
I don't really know what it is but it just feels off to me, can't put my finger on it but maybe it's to put us off the scent :)

I guess we'll see soon at NAMM. I was personally really wishing for an HDMI output just like the Roland had yeeeaaarrrss ago, then it really would be standalone.... and we could see what we were doing by keeping the touch stuff on the 10" and having all the arranger and plugins on the external monitor :)

If that leak is genuine then it's a real poor product for the 35th anniversary of the first MPC. It should have really been a full on monster but it looks more like something one of the big chains put out as a special edition.

........waiting for NAMM to see if Andy has some nice surprises for us!

The only surprise I expect to see is a MPC OS 3 that has all the bells and whistles we've been asking for. Hardware wise akai has showed repeatedly that takes very careful and cost effective steps to keep people buying hardware

Hmm, if it's just for the white and 2G more RAM, then I am having a hard time to convince myself to upgrade. Let's hope MPC OS 3 will pack something interesting. I would be happy if they'd finally gave us a way to set a loop marker in a sequence and just loop that bit like EVERY Daw on this planet is able to do. Even the Force has that feature. Looking forward to NAMM and Superbooth to being surprised by Andy

well, you can already easily set loop start\end points in a sequence, or am i missing something in your request?

I am amazed of the need to be hyped that we all have. So there is a new MPC XL or whatever, everybody starts to speculate and think it is going to be this, it is going to be that all hyped up. Then comes Akai and give us an underwhelming update and now everybody is hyping about, "Yeah the new MPC is shit but let's see what comes with V3 software" etc...
Let me tell you is gon be underwhelming too.
Akai makes great machines with nice software, but never gonna break the bank to give yall what you are dreaming. Wake up! Don't wait for an Steve Jobs type of moment here, they are not that company.

Not really. The MPC Touch itself was effectively just a second monitor for a computer running the MPC Software. It used Displaylink drivers inistalled on the computer to carry the display data over USB to the Touch hardware. You couldn't attach a monitor to your Touch and view the normal touch UI on a large screen, there was no way to view the touchscreen on anything other than the MPC Touch.
