Would like Akai to add this to sample edit.
Say you have 16 chops and find a pattern you like lets say its 2,7,9 Id like to be able to drag chop 2 to 1, 7 to 2 , and 9 to 3 then convert to new program ready to play.
Only way I know how to do this now is in a program with a bunch of tedious Pad Copying.
Yall got a mo betta solution?
Can't you just put the order of the slices on the pads you want after you've made a bunch of slices like - pad1=slice2, p2=s7, p3=s9, or can't you just make an new drum program that has the same sample on all the pads & just put pad slice option to Pad (not All or slice) for each pad & slice each pad however you want?
I get what your asking for but its kinda already there but if they did add it how would it even work? - if your in slice mode & only want to use some samples you would still have to select the samples you want which is what you gotta do if you have a program all with the same sample on each of the pads or just the pads you know you want them on & just change the slice # on each pad until to have the order that you like.
Or did I miss your point?
