TBH, I'm not sure there's anything to be excited about, not unless the MPC Mini is actually a thing. What happened to that? I thought that wannabe youtube influencer was going to reveal more 'in a few days'.

Akai is just switching the production from 2gb to 4gb of Ram.
I remember in 2017, when new Mpc came out, someone found out that Inmusic bought many soc boards, same cpu, some with 2gb, some with 4gb of Ram.
It totally makes sense so that now Akai will come out with new Mpc with new 4gb soc board, first X because it's the flagship, then Live and One.
And it also makes sense that Air will start making more complex plugins to step up the new Mpc with 4gb of Ram.
So I guess in 2023 we will see all upgraded Mpc, X, Live, One, maybe Force.
