No, this is a misunderstanding of the actual problem. The actual problem is: users often fill up the (limited) factory storage, which creates issues. They also sometimes delete factory content (including file structure) which also creates issues. Finally, the internal factory storage is not accessible in Computer Mode, so getting any saved Projects or samples off of it is a convoluted pain in the arse.
For those reasons alone, it is strongly recommended that you treat the factory storage - no matter how large Akai makes it - as "read only" drive and only use user-attached storage for everything.

anyway the X SE isnt good enough for me to go back to the tablet sampler which is what the X is. inmusic did good by puttin' old school heads like dupri (someone who posted the video called him "jamiroquai" in this thread) in a promo for it to give it some street cred. GAS is big here and i briefly flirted with getting it because of my GAS, but this thread and my senses slapped me back to reality like soul II soul...
