I didn't mean that they will be releasing a live 3 specifically, I just said, based on the current line up, that a 4GB MPC One is going to cause confusion when the model above only has 2GB, so they might have to release a 4GB live to remove that confusion, whatever name they choose, be it a live 3, or a live 2 XL etc.
I think most customers hate it when manufacturers make the purchasing decision more complicated than it needs to be. Better to have the clear boundaries 'budget MPC: MPC One' , 'Mid Level MPC: MPC Live', 'Flagship: MPC X'.
Personally I think combine the best features of the One and the Live and call it a day. I just think some of the limitations they put in the MPC One are just annoying and a little obnoxious (lack of wifi, lack of multiple USB 3, SATA drive support). Okay, I can appreciate that wifi & bluetooth would have required FCC related costs, but clearly they finally realised this was a daft decision.
Not too bothered about the battery as I can see it would drive up the cost a fair bit, but I also understand why people would like to see the One form factor with a battery.

maybe they might re-release the live 2 with extra ram and internal memory bumped up but I dont see them doing aredsign of live any time soon, and it looks like the mpc one mk2 will not be redesigned at all, which is in keeping with the mpc x se.
