oooOH this is plug in dope. I'm playing around with it on drums and you can do some sonically interesting things with it. With the high and low pass filter you can cut out a lot of noise and get some mad swagger on snares and kicks. I have yet to gone in on high hats but I can imagine all the magical things that can be done. Definitely my second favorite FX after Flavor Pro.

Dual delay, its timing parameters. it has some really fun ways of making things roll back on itself. I found it really compliments my "down tempo" type songs. I tend to write dreary sounding shit, and i feel like it aids that.

My music is shit and im pretty realistic about it but I used it on this song

Once I read that, I knew I was gonna like it! That was really dope. That delays fits perfectly with that dreary shit indeed. It sounded like warm gravy...Yummy.

i was convinced it will end up being a port of the delay inside opx4 (which i find very very good) maybe with some added bells and whistles, but its a totally different beast. imma check it.

Itt is a great stand in until they can get together a lush reverb. If they ever can. I've never heard a great reverb from akai, does air have any great reverbs?

I tried to get it today after seeing this thread. I couldn’t get to the free trial (I was repeatedly redirected into a hell-loop between InMusic and Akai promo pages), so I opted to buy to speed the process up as I guessed I’d like it anyway. First it took over two hours to get a serial to show up in the purchase page, then when I entered it in the X I was told I’d already entered it and given a link to buy the plugin.

Such joy. I’ll enjoy using it I’m sure when the problem is resolved, next month... or next year.

Air has released some top notch stuff for standalone and Delay pro is one of their masterpieces.
That thing is king for tape delay style stuff and Dub echoes.

Also the other plugin that was just released, Ether is top a top notch reverberation plugin with some very good modulation features. Hopefully that will be released too although I imagine that it needs a beefy machine to work properly.

Picked it up, and gotta say, so far it sounds pretty nice and is quite fun. Interested to see how I can push it with into some strange places

Same card I always used before, info correct, funded, etc.. they just keep telling me No.
I contacted fastspring, hopefully gets resolved before the introductory price break ends.
Would love to see Akai make these products available for purchase elsewhere, like mpc-samples.com for example.

You can buy it at ADSR Sounds as well, I don't think they use Fastspring

No plans to start offering third party products at mpc-samples.com, not really the direction I want to take things. I've dabbled with other company's products in the past but I prefer to just sell my own creations.

Thanks Tutor. Adsrsounds has it for 49 usd through May 25 - so I guess that's when the Akai price goes up as well. I'll give fastspring a chance to correct the issue first. It's good to know there is an alternative after all.
