Nahhhhh Bcz then they'll want the Mini Me to have a Battery, SSD, More Pads, etc.

Imagine a dude at the Park with a Mini Me, External Battery Pack, Bigger Screen Adaptor, Bluetooth Speakers Attached, etc. Paid a Few Hundred and want Every Update with ALL Expansions Loaded directly on it, Black Lion Cub Internals to make it sound 90s Distorted & Muddy

It's only cringe if they make posts of them making beats at the park or beach, especially if the beat is mid... :vomit:

I prefer my bat cave, thank you very much!

It IS cringe. I wouldn’t, ever.

I'm 15-20 years senior to the "look at me" generation, but I've taken my Live 2 on vacation with me many times, and there's nothing cringe about making music at the pool or the beach or the park if you're in a place that is safe. When inspiration strikes, it's incredible to be staring at this:

If I'm out at the park or beach I ain't trying to make beats. That view does nothing for me. Water, huts & sunny blue sky all very nice if on vacation, but it doesn't inspire me to makes music. Cloudy, rainy days & night time is more inspiration to me, but more so than external factors is my inner desire to make something great. So back to bat cave & I'll open up the window shade if it's not too sunny :smoker:

The cringe come from posting "beats made at park/beach" as if that makes the music better. It's too instagramy for me. What you're talking about is different because you're not doing it at those places for attention.

even back in they scratch magazine days i recall they had an advert of a dude making beats on the plane with something like a 303 and some beats by dre headphones.

and I just thought cringe

maybe if ur in business class or on a private jet making beats on the plane might be cool; but if see a dude with an MPC live in economy/coach, that shit is cringey.

but what do u think about making beats at the airport or on the train? thats cringe aswell in my book, I just think making beats in public seem like trying to seek attention.
esepcially if I see a dude bopping his head like khrysis while he make beats in public

Yeah, not sure if 'beat making on the go' is really much of a thing, not in the UK at least, I certainly don't ever see it when I'm out and about. But if I did, yeah, cringe. I also think you're asking to get robbed.

But 'beats on the go' looks great in the marketing. :smoker:

I don’t give a f. I have an MPC500 I dragged with me all across the globe. Making beats is one of my favorite things to do, so if I have a 10hr flight or flight get’s delayed I am happy to kill time by working on some stuff. I also love doing crossword puzzles and reading, which I also do in these type of situations like a lot of non musicians like to do as well. And making beats to me isn’t any different than reading and doing crossword puzzles in that regard.

Just me, but I took my mpc to holiday destinations on the beach many many times. Nothing better than to sit in your bungalow on the beach, light one up and make dope beats. I am not on facebook or Instagram or something like that though^^
