Man, when I bought my Live back in 2019 I thought 'This is going to be awesome, I can take this shit everywhere and work'.. Nah, think I used it on the couch once, otherwise its been in the center of my desk since day 1. Its either going to be the 'center of the studio' with everything attached, or a portable standalone beat machine, too much trouble to bounce back and forth between the two..

That's understandable. I've got my home studio pretty much already locked in, so the Live 2 is 100% supplementary for me.

I feel you. That's one of the reasons I picked up a Force (to keep it as the center of my studio), and use my Live 2 for the "on the go" stuff (as well as couch/patio time)! But I realize that isn't a realistic financially viable option for most. Especially first-time hobbyists just starting out. If I was some kid who saved up for a couple of summers of part-time jobs, I'd certainly have to pick one or the other.

I just leave my crap plugged in. It's too much work to fish the cables back through my ikea-stand make-shift rack and plug it all back in. It's hard getting down on the hands and knees and contorting to plug stuff in. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I just leave my crap plugged in. It's too much work to fish the cables back through my ikea-stand make-shift rack and plug it all back in. It's hard getting down on the hands and knees and contorting to plug stuff in. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I drilled holes in my table for the cables, but I still would prefer to just leave everything set up there & have extra cable for moving around. First world problems arw best solved with first world solutions!

LOL if they ever bothered updating with the sampler engine, it would've been a different story. As it is now, I'd have to haul my E6400 with me every where to play back any of my projects.

Yeah the internal storage is great, but it doesn't help load samples in an external sampler now does it genius?
