The whole point of this thread was highlighting what makes channels like crates motel valuable. I think there’s a huge lane for real world expertise and advice on producing on an mpc.

I also pointd out his BS advanced sampling video I & say some video he did are on point, unfortunately for me most those are on basic stuff that I already know. Maybe some people will let the fact of being a likeable guy distort their judgment of him. I said I treat all these YouTube dudes like supermarkets & get what I find useful. That's a very objectives way to go about it.

I'm good. But when you make that kind of mistake online it can be easily taking the wrong way, especially if you say that to the OP, plus you cherried picked only 1 part of my post about him being a cool guy. Anyway, you meant thread post of thread normally it doesn't matter which word you use, some times it does. We good tho.

Pleasantly surprised to see my video posted here. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it! I've been making stuff as Watermark High for a long time and yeah, it's just my YouTube artist channel with my releases of the last decade or so that I have, over the last year decided to kind of use to pivot more towards tutorials etc. I'll still have my music on there, but I want to turn the YouTube channel into an actual beat making channel, while still working as an artist.

Thing is, I obviously don't do YouTube full time and since I want my videos to be as concise and useful as possible but also not look like crap, the videos I've made so far have taken forever to create. For instance, I worked on this Flavor Pro vid for like 3 weeks. That's not really sustainable, especially while doing it on the side and not really getting a ton of views.

I'm in the process of figuring out how to do more videos that look rad and are useful, but that don't take weeks to make. I recently bought a camera (the first couple were shot on my phone) and some other gear that will hopefully make shooting easier etc.

Anyway, I'm ranting, sorry. Just basically want to say, I'm working hard to try and publish more regularly. I'm also just doing what I think might work but I'm obviously still figuring stuff out. Definitely more MPC vids coming! Early days. Hopefully I'll get there soon.

@Pizza2047 That all sound great! I hope you figure out to stream line your process for making great video's faster because you're demo was worth me taking the time to share here & other places. Maybe you can find some YouTube workflow tips on YouTube
