After reading requests on here about vids and stuff I sat down yesterday and filmed myself making a beat on the mpc1000. It's about 20min long and also has a section on using Timing Correct.

If someone has a server or some space to upload it, then let me know.

Also let me know what kind of format you want...quicktime, windows media...divx...VCD

Even though I know how to make beats already, I enjoyed watching the videos. Looks like your mpc wasn't too stable on that table or whatever. When you hit a pad on the left side, your mpc wobbled real bad. Do you have all 4 rubber cushions underneathe it?

For the demonstration you just gave, I think you should have turned on the full level feature. That would have saved some wear and tear on your pads because you really didn't do anything that required any touch sensitivity.

It was interesting the way you used the TC feature with the note repeat button. That was a new trick for me. Thanks! I use TC all the time, but just in a different way. Maybe I should make a video too? ;)

Good day mate! I'm looking forward to your next production. :)

haha...yeah not to stable...i had a book underneath it so it was easy to see on the camera...

i tend to bash those pads which is a bit of a bad habit....maybe i should use the full level more.

i think its a good idea to make some more videos...everyone has different ways of working and little ideas and things that can help other people

:D

Just curious on how you go about doing it. I tried to click on your link, and it came back with this URL: http://www.yousendit.com/blocked.aspx and the page said link unavailable.
