Every MIDI clock pulse effectively causes a tiny tempo change in the receiving clock slave, so maybe it doesn't handle tempo changes very well. Get your money back?

You made the right choice. Some of the scratch fx are OK, and it has potential, if they keep working on it. But IMO it's got a long way to go to justify the price tag. Definitely gimmicky as you said. I'll be trying the demos before jumping to buy from now on... I think I got a little over confident after Delay Pro, which was worth every penny.
