I'm honestly not mad about this. The fact that the same devices are still supported 7 years later is great for producers. Releasing new hardware isn't necessary when the MPC works fine the way it is sans a few bugs and minor software issues. A faster processor and more ram aren't going to improve anyone's beats if we get the same software with the same bugs.
Even in its current state, all the MPC hardware devices have unique advantages and capabilities that make them the best standalone groovebox on the market. The Push 3, Maschine Plus, Deluge and MC-707 have years of catching up to do to compete with the current MPCs in terms of I/O and features. A full refresh would have to have 16GB RAM, MPC 3.0 and an Octacore i9 11th Gen Processor to even make sense for producers to upgrade.
