Just bought a used Mpc X

Do I need to contact the seller to transfer over the license or have them un-register it under their Akai account?

Register by creating an account at Akai professional using the (21) serial number underneath the unit . The seller doesn’t need to transfer the license to you.


Sometimes it won’t let you register a used unit. Then you need to contact akai support to get them to reset the activation on the serial number. It’s not common for that to happen anymore though.
