After get home and looking it on PC monitor this looks really cheaply made.. when I was at guitar center I was able to demo the key 61.. although I didn't like it that much it did feel solid with actual rubber buttons.. key 37 looks really cheap and strip down $699.99 is the most it should be sold for..

And you know it’s going to be at least $899. My guess is $999

When you copped an mp you made it your own by throwing stickers on it, ashing your newport 100 on the pads, and beating them down till they had a buttery burnt leather texture at the edges. Nothing but character. It was YOURS.

Maybe the rich kids did but not here. The MPC2K was $2000 in 1999. That was a small fortune back then. Better believe that piece of gear is going to be kept in the best condition it can for as long as it can at my house. Drop ashes on my expensive ass sampler, you're gonna leave with a couple less teeth.

Both my 3000 and 2000 classic are near mint condition to this day.. on my 2000 I did have to replace both lcd screens.. and a few buttons on my 2000 but there hardly any scratches on it

I’m going to guess that the people who buy this and use it won’t be staring at it for hours lol. Their unpacking videos will get more time than actual music making.

I think it would look nice a retro colour scheme
