Upscaling is all on the video card/output device. The MPC would need to handle that on top of everything else. The display just shows you the signal it's given from the video card. A TV yes, because there's a computer and 'video card' behind the display assembly running it (and probably using a board similar to the MPC hah).

What are we talking about do you want more to take away from your ram with with 4k just make beats ..in the day we had dotted lcd's and didn't flinch.. please stop with it!

LOL @ ebay sellers cropping images to “look” like 37 keys but it’s actually a Key61.

I bet there's direct RGB H/V points directly on the boards they use. If someone has a schematic I would be happy to try soldering a VGA port to MPC One just to see if it works.

HDMI would require quite a bit more work. But I bet there's VGA available to tap into somewhere.

I'm buying one. And I already got a Key61 and MPC X. It's looks pretty funky and fits right in perfectly in my setup. Just what i needed. I'll be a collectors item someday i'm sure. Thanks Akai for the low price too!
