How to change the number of bar pre-count for metronome?

Is it possible to change the number of measure that the MPC one metronome play in lead-in when you press record? Mine is set on one, but when recording my own guitar playing i would prefer 2 measure to get more 'in the beat' before the recording start.

I am not sure about pre count (i don't have mpc near now). but you can use Record Start feature to play sequence once and start recording on the next run - it's in the manual at 86

Raised from the dead. I miss the two-bar count-in like the 2000XL.

I miss the option of a two bar precount too, especially when there's no way to start playing or recording with a pedal in the One.

Sometimes I add a fill-in bar in song mode, but still not the best way to do it

Actually, you can start and stop playback with a Disaster Area MIDI Baby pedal, which can send MMC start/stop messages.
