Don't believe the hype. The new MPC/Force sounds better than the 2500, which was know to have a transparent sound that was hated by many when it came because they said it sounds too clean. It's cleanness is why I liked it as my main sampler, as I don't want it to color my samples. I add my own character later.
I have both the 1000/2500 & the Force & transferred about 60 MPC beats to the Force (my 2500 died halfway thru so I used the 1k for the rest) & can assure you the Force will make all your samples sound louder. It won't change the character of the sound as it's a clean sampler as well, tho you won't have to sample the beats into the new MPC/Force, just load the programs.
The higher bit rate allows for louder signals. If you haven't, study the different between 16 bit & 24/32 bit. Higher bit rates increase the audio headroom to allow for higher signals before it starts clipping. Make sure your gain staging is correct. Here some links that may be helpful:
