Akai technically doesn't have to do a damn thing in regard to this, and is being very generous letting the public try this out. Try to show some respect and have some patience, instead of being an entitled spoiled brat about it ok?

We don't know if the build of the open beta 3.0 will be the same as YouTubers actually got. It quasi certain our build will get mute tracks back if I listen well.
what don't we wait to try first ?

The public beta is definitely going to be different to what you are seeing, this is why it's still in private beta so they can squash any nasty stuff before it goes out to a wider audience, and hopefully take on board any feedback and suggestions. And that's why I personally think it's okay that people are starting to voice their opinions now, even though they don't have the beta yet.

I think this was the whole reason Akai made that official announcement, just sampling the water temperature before diving in. Getting some early feedback, adjust, more testing, getting more feedback, more adjusting, official final release.

I am actually one of those who can appreciate working within certain limitations.
I once won NI Komplete, never used anything except for Reaktor which I already had.
I didnt even try all the things.

But I dont like when options I use a lot are taken away suddenly...

Nah, I'm done respecting corporations, now they have to respect me. The solutions in this update should have come in 2020 as they sold me MPC. I'm not suddenly going to jump like a twat because akai fixed the software and added a nice skin on top.

wrong; if u was unhappy with the features of MPC in 2020, why did u purchase? nobody forced u to buy in

Hi, a quick question for beta tester, time signature still exist on 3.0 ? In my MPC I can access to modify time signature in the "project default" or when I insert a new Bar.
I have a Force too, and it's not possible to modify the time signature like on MPC..

You know very well that to get a feel for Akai's buggy software, you have to do it for yourself.

The longer answer is: you can stream more than 8 if you also use a Drum Program to trigger more. How many you can get depends on your disk performance (SSD highly recommended), the phase of the moon, and how much salt you throw over your shoulder.

Makes me wonder what is the performance impact when using multiple streaming locations and how far you can push it ?
for example 20-ish samples from internal ssd, another 10-ish from usb sdd and another 10-ish from sd card :hmmm: I know that the ultimate limiting factor will be the usb bus as internally everything goes via usb3 but still it makes me want to try to push it hard

But the short version is - on my Force I can get between 16-24 "audio tracks" before I start getting audio drop out. YMMV...

 I love the sarcasm in your post. Its really sad that this worthless kid gets prioritized over actual musicians with actual skills that can give us valuable feedback and opinions. 3.0 Beta doesnt go to Tubedigga, BoBeats, Dilliot2k, Sanjay, midlife synthesist, and many others could have done a better, more informative and opinionated review with more value than the useless civil engineer who has never touched a Keyboard workstation or Legacy MPC in his life. We dont need some random person who uses Reaper (seriously, the kids a civil engineer and he cant afford Ableton?) to boast about how he loves all the new features yet never even understood the original MPC workflow in the first place or why the MPC was designed the way it is. That kid needs to stick with the Novation Circut and stop posting videos. Thankfully I have his channel blocked so I never have to watch or hear anything from him ever again.

Tubedigga definitely did a video on the beta. But plenty like the linked video about unfortunately.

What's wrong with reaper...

Or do you judge books by their covers?

Yeah, but you're streamed them from a single I/O device (SSD) right ? or did you tried to stream from SSD and SD card at the same time ? or internal SSD + USB SSD ? or any combination of these ? Reason I'm asking is I wonder if you just hitting the limit of streaming device bandwidth (SSD) without hitting the limit of internal bus to which all of the I/O devices are connected. If that's the case then theoretically it would be possible to stream an additional set of samples from a different device. :-D
