Notes coming back off-beat?

I own an AKAI MPK Mini, and use MPC Beats to record songs. Went to record the piano part, and the notes are coming back off beat and with bad timing. I play it right and then the notes almost adjust themselves to be equal lengths apart

Turn off 'Global Timing Correct' ('TC' top centre of screen, or Edit > Timing Correct > Settings'

Check your quantize settings in MPC Beats and make sure it's not set to a fixed grid. Also, try recording with a lower quantize value or even turning it off to see if that fixes the issue.

If quantization is not the issue, manually adjust the notes in the MIDI editor to correct timing

I'd also suggest checking your sample start positions... it's possible they have a lot of air in front of them.
