Gives me a little hope midi clips may still appear. You can see midi patterns on the 4 clips.

Was loading a duplicate program heavy project.

I do hope so. 3.4 just doesn't work for me with it's enforced linear workflow.

I just noticed by chance that randomizing the pan of a pad with a mono file now works! (It didn't have any effect in MPC 2. You had to convert the files to stereo.)

I really hope you're right but Maschine has been out for what? 15 years now, and it still only does one time signature at a time. It can respond to your host DAW sending various time signatures but it cannot implement it in its own song window or individual tracks. I mean its biggest direct competition is a single signature only machine.

I was hoping for at least the controller software MPC level of integration, because it's always been a PITA in stand alone, and it's a crap shoot if we get it at all. I hope you're right, but this potentially is a deal breaker for me.

What happened to the one bar count-in? I need to know where that setting is...

4/4 only must be a joke. Hardly any of my tracks ever were in 4/4.

I guess I'll get a some glue tomorrow and seal the ethernet port.

I feel like we need an official word on this, like we got with Track Mutes. I had a really bad feeling about this when I commented on multiple youtube videos of influencers about if time signatures had improved in stand alone, and got silence.

How can I mute a track when I set different outputs for the pads?
Right now the drums keep playing when I mute that track.

I loved triggering sample clips on tempo, mangling them with pitch/warp, etc.

AKAI removed it, probably to make it Force exclusive. No easy and flexible way to do audio sample latching now too. Unfortunately the SP404MKII doesn't do quantized launching so it's no alternative.
