I'm not sure (I'm using mpc from 2.14) but, people commented it was available in 2.12 or earlier

Edited: was possible

I'm not sure it's accurate to say that since the ability to adjust time signature was an existing feature that was stripped out and not something people have been demanding for ages. I think the fact that it was a basic function in the previous software that was left out because they forgot is why people are annoyed. I've submitted my feedback and have also heard from some sources that it was an oversight that is being corrected, so I'm not too concerned.

its already there!!!! ffs people cant do scalable math apparently. even the fkn swing is there if you wanna program samba. (not saying you im generalizing about folks asking). "fractions? yo why you talkin down to me! you know i didnt get my grade 6."

while it's true that you can ignore whatever time signature the DAW has and just record away, matching your loop at the lowest common integer denominator, if your MPC functions in 4/4 and its divisions 1/8 1/16 etc, you cannot program the ARP by example for a non 4/4 metric. So it is a problem at the core of the design IMHO...

hi everyone do you know how sequence export works in version 3? impossible to find. The only thing I can do is export all the tracks but then if I want to bring back the sequence, I have to import the tracks one by one. This is really problematic for workflow. Would you have an idea? Thanks a lot

Since perfection doesn't exist, there will always be something to **** about. :|

False equivalency, time signatures seem to be removed, disk streaming was a feature request.

Hey are there any videos showcasing an audio track driven worlflow on mpc3? I've be recording multiple live instrument lately; piecing together takes as samples;, and I'm curious as to if it would be helpful.

To busy using it to praise it.. but now it's going to be even more crucial, since they took my whole live Flow out (having completely separate songs for sequence 1 than sequence 2, different programs and setups , etc.) So now will have to be loading up each "song" and play a drum machine in between songs, instead of having a seamless flow like I could do before. So the faster loading when using disk streaming samples is helpful. Still coming up with work arounds... I do like it for building a single song, but it's not too good for having like 10-15 songs to play in a set. Unless they implement the Force's Midi/Audi Clips - may have to cop a Force for live sets and use my "Live II" only in the Studio. We'll see how the flesh it out, as the Midi/Audio clips could still be on it's way

I’m hoping that Clips just become part of the way kits work, i.e. you can have a sample play as a loop and or to tempo, as a regular drum style sample etc. I’m also hoping time signatures come back, word is they’re working on mute tracks. I mean I could see with the A-F pads available if they integrated clips right into kits it would make a whole hell of a lot of sense. If that is their plan being transparent about it would be a lot smarter than leaving people hanging.
