Anyway I can work around this? Will future updates allow for more plugins? Or better yet, what on earth were they thinking? This is highly restrictive.

That's the thing, part of the research some people do is watching them Andy Mac videos & he's good at his job & now we're having this convo. Damn you Andy!

Niche requirement. Has to be by choice, at certain times, not permanently enforced via lack of options/capability.
