Are you running the MPC V3? Have you tried with the UMC18/20 and ADAT? Just wondered if it's still stable?

I can try it out tonight, but won't be able to test the ADAT. My Ferrofish is connected to my 828x, and there is no way I am going digging through the back of my rack just to test that for 2 minutes with the MPC (sorry, its not exactly easy to get behind that rack).
I honestly have not actively used my MPC in like 2 years. I only install the new beta builds, play around with a test project for a day or two, and that's it. Went back to Cubase 2-3 years ago and have no intention of going back to the new MPC lineup at all. Actually just took the 1820 out my rack a few weeks ago, needed the 8 channel snake on it for my S3000XL haha.

Ahh, no worries about testing it, I'm a long way away from upgrading (I'm in no rush, Mine has not also been switched on for a few weeks) , just thought I'd check with you to see if that was something to tick off my 'Do I need to worry about this list'. If you do hook it up at some point, It would be good to know how it goes.

Just a heads up to say that I am on mpc 3.1 on a Live ii and it works seamlessly with the SSL BigSix (and on more than 8 channels)

my interfaces will work for around 5-10 minutes and then the audio gets all messed up.

Arturia Audiofuse 16rig seems start working with 1.3.3 firmware. Tested on MPC 3.4.0.105 beta.

Has anyone tried connecting an MPC with a Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2 AI ?

I was surprised to find that the Fender Tone Master Pro works with my Force - of course only useful if you want to use TMP for processing really, otherwise you're swapping two inputs for... two inputs. Could be good for re-amping (the TMP outputs a DI guitar signal on on of its USB outs I believe, which could then be sent back later on).

Not tried with the MPC3 yet.

MPC One [Firmware (MPC 3.4.0.105) (Beta)]

I tried with the following sound cards; basically, all of them worked, but there was a crackling, popping sound during playback.

Focusrite Scarlett 8i6 (3rd gen)
Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd gen)
M-Audio M-track Solo

Hi, this list helped me to buy the Mackie ProFx6V3, thanks a lot! I am just learning MPC and I am using the latest MPC3 on a MPC One +.

I tested all audio interfaces I got at home, and I also measured the round trip latency (RTL) for each device. This can be done by recording a sample from the device output back into its input (switch off monitoring before!) and by counting in the sample editor how many samples the recorded signal is late with respect to the original sample. This is exact up to 1 sample and gives the same result i.e. as the RTL Utility on Windows. I got the following "ranking":

MPC internal - 427 samples = 9,68 msec
Mackie ProFx6v3 - 468 samples = 10,61 msec
Audient iD24 - 507 samples = 11,50 msec
Steinberg UR22 MK2 - 564 samples = 12,79 msec

All interfaces working (playback and record). I got digital noise on the Steinberg in one occasion.

Now it would be nice from AKAI to implement a feature so we could specify this delay for a tighter mixdown. The delay should affect all but the audio tracks (drum, plugin, keygroup, midi and possibly CV). If there is such a setting or plugin, please let me know, I have not found one. This would be like a poor man's latency compensation, as added latency from plugins is not taken into account, but better as no compensation.

Apogee Symphony Studio 8x16 works with Live 2 on MPC3. BUT I noticed if you come in too hot you start to get pops and noise. works though and I mean technically you shouldn't be coming in hot anyways

I have something weird to report.

Tascam Model 12 not working with Firmware 3.4.1 it switches back to Internal mode and Tascam got "freezed", the strange thing is that I downgraded to Firmware 2.15.1 and the problem persist. (it was working prior to upgrade from 2.15.1 to 3.4.1 but the downgrade does not solve the issue.).

Does the order in which devices are turned on has to do something with funcionality? does the quality of the USB cable affects this? Does this is likely to improve with future updates?

Which is the best interface with sliders like Zoom Livetrak 12 or Tascam Model 12 that works flawlessly with MPC Key 37?

It seems that this class compliant feature is pretty erratic....

I've managed to solve the issue. For those with problems with Audio Devices not working or behaving oddly FIRST TRY A GOOD QUALITY USB CABLE

I've tried three different cables with the first two of them not working. Those were totally new cables but for some reason the USB cable makes a HUGE difference with the compatibility of class compliant Audio Device.

I hope this helps to everyone reporting strange behavior with their devices and MPC 3.4.1

UGREEN was the brand of the cable that solve my problem.

I've upgraded to 3.4.1 but haven't tried the UMC-1820 or ADA8200. I should be trying the 1820 this week and will report back. I need to order cables for the 8200 to be able to try that. Should be doing that soon as well. But probably within the next 2 weeks I can let you know if they work fine or not.
