oh yeah baby
for a price of plugin or even less for a used one - it's a no brainer :smoker:
got a couple more different ones since, but ended up using zoom/strymon nightsky and... reverb from digitakt which according to everybody on the internet is sh*t but it sounds great for my taste

Just to point out 84 was 4 decades ago. I was 7.

I also think of Lexicon when thinking of great classic effects from the last three decades, but since those mainly focused on reverbs, another great effect unit that comes to mind is the Yamaha SPX 90.
If I'm not mistaken that one was the first one that had all manner of effects under the hood, not only reverb like its older brother REV7.
I had so much fun with mine back in the day - ahhhh the memories ...

Whatever it is, it'll be fun having yet another tool to work with in the MPC line.

It also says: "Don't miss your chance to get a free license, because we will definitely run out!" so it will cost $99 , so more than the Delay Pro does.... a good Multi-FX would be nice.
What about Moogerfooger plugins?
The first one was released in 1998. They already have them as VST's and iPad apps. The first one is the Low Pass Filters, so that's where the cutoff may come from...

https://www.moogmusic.com/products/moog ... s-plug-ins

The Moogerfooger Effects Plug-ins include:
MF-101S Lowpass Filter
The classic Moog ladder filter with an envelope follower for dynamic control

MF-102S Ring Modulator
A wide-range carrier oscillator paired with an LFO for effects from soft tremolo through far-out clangorous ring modulation tones

MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser
A descendant of the vibrant 1970s rack-mounted Moog phaser with an on-board LFO

MF-104S Analog Delay
A rich, full-bodied delay and modulation circuit that has remained highly sought after to this day

MF-105S MuRF
A groundbreaking effect combining a resonant filter bank with a pattern generator and skewing envelope for vibrant animation of an incoming sound

MF-107S FreqBox
A box of gnarly synced VCO sounds with envelope and FM modulation

MF-108S Cluster Flux
A flexible processor that can modulate between chorus, flanging, and vibrato

MF-109S Saturator
A powerful saturation tool based on the classic Moogerfooger input drive stage that adds warmth, distortion, and compression to any sound

Well I was 9 and my 30th high school reunion was last year, so 93/94 is '30 years'.. They said it was multi-fx no? It's likely a PCM or an Eventide knock off of some sort unless they want to go 'low rent' and do a Quadraverb. There weren't a whole lot of 'professional' multi effects at the time (it was all guitar shit like Digitech/Boss/Zoom/etc).

Watch, they're gonna get everybody hyped up and end putting out an EB16 plugin.

you may be right, sadly. I would have dream about an Ensoniq DP/4 (mine is now aging...) but that's maybe a LOT to ask :-)

I wonder if Creative still has any of that information laying around, or if it can be found elsewhere in some patent filing. That thing was rad but man they are so expensive and very temperamental now.

I would rather AIR put out a Brass/Horn Instrument Collection. We have enough Effect Plugins.

given that we have tons of efx already whats the point of multi fx
