Gigasampler -> mpc: How to convert?

Dear experts,
i own some very fine sample libraries in gigafileformat with inbacked release samples.
MPC61 can do that for me also if i use the Note-On (when holding a key) and Note-Off function (when release the same key and a beautiful reverb tail is given as a one-shot)?

What do you suggest is the easiest method to convert the Gigafile-Samples to mpc?
Sure i got the wav-files out of it with CDXtract.

Can you help?

It doesn't convert directly from Giga, but there are tools that convert from Giga to SFZ, and from there you can convert to MPC

The best bet is Translator 7. it's complicated and in some ways overkill, but once oyu spend some time with it, it's pretty great. I need to spend a day or two going through all my old sampler libraries and converting. It will do Kompact, Intakt, EXS24, Gigasampler, REX, Guru, etc. etc.

If you are getting translator do wait for Black Friday, historically it’s always 50% off. Personally I had a lot of issues with the legacy mpc exports, not sure what the success rate is with the new formats

I've typically had to run a few test runs on a particular format to format conversion before getting all the settings right. None of these things are perfect, but getting 20+ year old Kompact libraries I just happened to have still on a hard drive into MPC formats is a huge advantage to me for $75 on sale.
