Ramgni wrote:You know perfectly well that hybrid3 isn't included in the MPC software. You have to buy it! In the beginning of your book you stated that only plugins were used that come included with the mpc live and the software.

Hybrid 3 was always a free plugin for MPC Live/One owners and was included as part of your MPC hardware purchase along with a whole bunch of other free plugins, you download it from your inMusic account under 'Legacy Expansions'.

It's possible that they may not be giving that for free to some MPC models anymore, but that tutorial is about using Autosampler to sample 'any' VST plugin, I just picked the Hybrid plugin for that example but you can substitute any VST in there, that's the whole point of that tutorial.

Select a VST from your VST collection, choose a patch and autosample it, the instructions are the same no matter which plugin you decide to autosample, the focus of that tutorial is about how to use autosampler, not Hybrid.

I Have An MPC ONE. I Want To Upgrade The Firmware So I Can Download Stems. I Don’t Have An Upgrade Option In My Preferences. I Only Have The Reset Option. I Have The 2.7.1 Firmware Currently. Is There Any Other Way To Upgrade My Firmware?

Does anyone know if I have to repurchase this, or is it simply an update to the Bible I currently have? If it's the latter, can anyone point me to the link?

If you purchased before, log into your account to obtain the latest 2.x edition at https://www.mpc-samples.com/customer.php

Maybe it would more sense for 3.0 to be out of beta before he start thinking about it. In the meantime check out some Force videos on the Arranger since they've about the same.

What is about the arranger do you want to know?
