I am relatively new to connecting external midi-instruments to the mpc.
The way I have it set up is microfreak via usb to the mpc and a jack cable to send audio to the mpc.
I have recorded a small sequence and repeat the loop with overdub turned on to record automations on cutoff and resonance by tweaking the knobs on the microfreak.
The problem is that as soon as I stop moving the knobs the automations are flatlined for all parameters. So If I turn the knob for resonance to automate that, the cutoff automation is getting erased in the background. Is there a way to arm just one automation for recording at a time? What is the best way to have live control over the automation of more than one parameter.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
