I've purchased JJOS for three of my MPCs and absolutely love it. Been using it for years now.

Is there a way to properly load JJOS-created PRJ project files into the MPC Software 2 or a modern MPC?

Most of my projects consist of audio tracks. When I try to load them on my MPC Live, the audio tracks are empty.

I can manually reconstruct them - just wondering if there's an easier method.

Thanks for any help!

No, you just have to load the PRJ and see what happens, try loading individual programs and MIDI if the PRJ isn't playing nicely. Beyond that, as you say, it's a case of manually reconstructing. Ultimately it's a good opportunity to revisit and potentially inject some new life into an old beat.

Yes, you can drag the PRJ file on the MPC Software and then save the project in the new format. Or export stems.

One major backdraw is that effects won‘t be loaded and the mix will sound different. Apart from that everything‘s there.
