do u have the dimensions of the new device? I am not sure what the above means and how its relavent if u dont have the new devie actual measurements

They're on the FCC website - you have exact measurements of the label and you also have exact placement of the label in relation to the unit itself. It's not that hard to extract full device measurements is it ? Seems like you not even been bothered to check what documents are available but are ready to spread whatever theories as the only truth...

after all this years since that alleged 'insider info' it's all irrelevant now and nobody gives a damn if it was true or not. Heck - I'll tell you a secret now... AKAI will release a 64bit MPC in the future - you don't have to belive me but mark my words when it eventually comes out

The dimensions on the drawing are not reliable. The label diagram for Key37 was unrelated to the actual size.

I asked about exact measurements of the device; NOT the exact measurements of the label, also the lable measurments are somewhat ambigous due to lack of metric or imperial units.

but using logic; there was no built in mic on the MPC Live1 or Live2; nor was there any built in mic on the MPC One or the X.

Devices that have built in mics tend to be the smaller devices; that target the portable/bedroom producers crowd such as the SP404.

So following that logic one would expect this device to be smaller then the current MPC Live and smaller then the MPC One, u straight up lied and said the dimensions of the new device are shown on the FCC website, but then u did a gypsy switch and spoke about the label dimensions.

Just admit that u were wrong to dimiss the suggestion of their being an MPC Mini device; as u lack perception ur arrogance blinds u.

It really should be a Live 3, the fire sale on Live 2 would seem to be the biggest indicator - or certainly a 'replacement' mid range model just with a completely different name. Needs to have 4GB, battery and the usual live2 I/O at minimum. Lose the speakers as I like to carry my Live around with me!

Maybe revealed in Berlin next month at Superbooth? Don't see Akai or inMusic listed on the exhibitors page though.

This would break my heart - I hope you're wrong. I find so much use in the built-in speaker, I can't imagine using my Live without it. I do admit the additional size is a PITA, but I can still carry it with me. I just skip going to the gym that day.

thats a good spot; the mystery continues but the MPC mini rumours; combined with the built in mic pretty much lets me know what this is most likely to be.
