What causes Force to Lag on some tracks?

Some of my projects when I load them and start to play them back some of the tracks are lagging, such as the drum track. Most of the time if I keep playing it, it works itself out, but WTF? I normally press play and record my finished tracks into my board. If it lags at all that is no good for a pro track.

Any ideas?

And for the record the memory and cpu usage is minimal

And make sure you're not using Warp.

3.3 It has happened on and off for last few years now.

I don't turn warp on, I use the drum tracks and record loops directly in.

I wonder if it could be the hard drive.
