Lol, no idea what you are talking about, for the past few days I've been hammered by bots which have been maxing out the database connections. 1000s of requests per second. The only way I've kept the site online is to implement the cloudflare javacript challenges, not monetizing jack shit with cloudflare. But thanks for calling me a scumbag BTW.

Posts like this make me wonder why I bother with this place.

These checks started happening at the same time one of my routers played up. So I thought it was me, and my Vietnamese IP, which some forums don't like. Turns out it isn't me.

Another music forum recently just got bombarded by bots last week, with loads of random posts about travel support. When I clicked on unread post, there were pages of them, all with different accounts. It's a pain for us to go through, but must be a total chore to have to clear up.

Anyways, this place is great, really appreciate the effort to keep it going.

By the way, **** Cloudflare's hold on so much of the web - but I'm nevertheless in awe of their technological mastery , their free tier helps a ton of people and the Cloudflare engineering blog is always fascinating.

Imagine me though, i work all day sweating my bag off in the heat. sweat rolling down my face, hot asphault shingles sticking to my hands. razor metal dicing me up like hamburger, my coworker grinding my gears all day. I come home im like "ahhh finally lets go see what the fellas are doing." i go to the site and im locked out, this is one of the last few places where I can interact with other musicians / producers and what not. I'm like "surely this cant be..." i had to go against every immoral fiber in my body and reenable js, cookies and disable ubock just to make my freak out post lol. I need this place god damn it is there no place sacred from the damn bots anymore. Again i'm sorry i acted like a small kid us roofers arent known to be chill... I am sorry i blamed you rather than just asking like a human being.
