Beats not seeing VST's

V 2.14.0 64 bit. it came with the mini plus

I've watched all the videos and installed Elements yet it still won't see any of the vst's

Ive managed to get Horrorbox and analogue V working sort of. The presets dropdown doesnt work so I have to use the up/down arrow to scroll through the preset list which is obviously not how it was intended.
None of the other VST's work.

MPC Beats doesn't support VST3, I assume that's probably the issue.

use it all the time, works well, occasionally a bit unstable in mpc desktop but ive not lost any projects yet

I watched a video and installed something called elements. No idea if that did the trick but after some random key mashing everything except surge works.
