There are lots of great things in 3.5 and 3.6.

Another annoying thing: after all these years it is still not possible to load a sample directly into a keygroup. As if they didn't want anyone to actually use keygroups.

Who needs KGs when you can use Splice & all of Akai's sound packs with pictures of famous beat-makers?

I thought I wouldn't use the new drum articulation feature, but that was based on how people were using it in demos which they were only using drum sounds in normal way, but last night I tried it & use the Drum FXs which are in the same window & some other things to get this crazy synth sound out of 1 snare. I need to make a video on it.

I have a question:
You can make clips from audiotracks and miditracks as well, right?
When you launch a midi clip (that is send to external gear) and have a program change sent at the start of it, will this prgCh repeat every time the clip loops, or is it sent just at the beginning?

On the MPC this is one of the most annoying things since 3.xx. With 2.xx you had a sequence and every new sequence could sent a new prgch at the start that was not repeated when looping. Individually for every midichannel. Very basic and useful, if not to say an essential function when you sequence with gear. Now it´s global for all sequences. Bullshit.
Does clips behave different?

Now that mpc OS is essentially the force os but with less pads to trigger clips, I wonder how long it will be till Force is supported by the desktop software.
They have to support the clip matrix now that is available in the entire mpc family.
That's all I need to be fair as Force is not the most mobile device in the market.

I asked that same question awhile back. It makes no sense for the Force to not be apart of the software if they both, now have the main thing that made them the different? - the Force the MPC seqs & song mode. The MPC got the Force Clip-matrix & Macros.

Plus, you can exchange project files between both platforms. I think this merging is why the software is taking so much time to come out of beta. Why keep the Force out of the game when it's body is one of the best designed models to handle the matrix & had 3.0 5 years earlier.
