SOFTWARE UPDATE WHEN?!?! (Like wtf?)

Its now 2026, Ive had my MPC Almost 2 years, and im still unable to make beats in the desktop software and just open them up in the VST and Record My tracks in Live.... why because out of all the updates YOU THOUGHT WERE NEEDED... Not addressing the lack of backwards compatibility within the Update releases wasn't a WORK FLOW ISSUE? can we please have this fixed? Like at some point in our life time??!

Anway, whom do you think you adressing with the middle finger? This forum is not maintained by Akai. The general believe is that noone from Akai is reading.

I'm pretty sure that part of his comment wasn't directed to anyone here. I agree with his frustration. Also yes, a few Akai dudes check this site and have in the past responded to DM's.

I very well understand his frustration. Cannot say that I'm a fully satisfied customer. As far as I'm concerned 3.x still feels like a beta.

They talk too, you just don't know it's them. They're the first to defend the product when we complain about it. Customers don't do that crap. I could be wrong but pretty sure I got a few of em picked out. No need to name names.

I agree. When are we going to get the VST version of the software so I can easily transfer projects into my DAW? I've tried every variation of Save-Audio MIxdown-seperate tracks, it's all extremely buggy as hell and/or time consuming. Half of the functionality doesn't work properly, the entire OS is a mess. You release a new version for your new fancy flagship units and half the shit that did work breaks. Insane.

To be honest I haven't had alot of complaints with akai.. now with livr 3 & XL with usb c im good to go.. now any new instruments or effects I wilk purchase. As far as vst goes yes they should complete and im sure soon it will be released.. Akai has delivered over the past 5 years unlike other companies that put out half baked keyboards and are being sold ..
