MPC live I - adsr for individuale layer

Hi community!
Would anyone know how to do this inside Program Edit, in the Amp Env submenu: how can I edit the ADSR filter individually for each of the eight layers? Because at the top it says ‘Edit all layer’ (as like as for sample menu) but there’s no way to actually make it work (at least for me, LOL )

Interesting question, I don’t know that each layer has its own engine because as far as I as I know you can’t assign FX to individual layers but maybe I’m wrong.

You can edit the ADSR at the pad level. It would be cool to do it the layer level - send in a request.
Edit all levels is for the parameters can edited being changed all at once which is a major time saver, esp no that there's 8 layers. Also for each layer to have there own ADSR, each would have to have their own filter & other stuff & that may be too much for gen1 units, which would mess up switching projects between different gens.

The workaround is to put each layer on its own pad & use Simultaneous Play so each pad plays at once. Also assign each pad to the same submix to keep the FX unified.

Envelopes, filters, LFO are all applied to the output of the entire pad. It is possible to target a layer though, set layer 1 level to 0 then use the mod matrix to modulate 'layer 1 level' using the aux envelope.
