MPC XL: Will Another Colorway Be Released? Anyone know?

MPC XL: Will Another Colorway Be Released? Anyone know?

After resisting temptation for months, I have decided to upgrade and purchase the flagship XL model. However, I'm keeping my Live 2 for portability. I love the features and processing power of the XL, but I'm not a fan of the colorway! Does anyone have any reliable intel if there's going to be a release of the XL in another color (XL-SE or XL Retro?)

I would have been borderline pissy if I would have bought the Live 3 only for the Retro model to drop months later. :P Thanks in advance if anyone knows and I will wait. 8)

No info I think but it’s kind of already the retro model in a way. Maybe they will do a 3000le..?

I actually understand the color change choice. I just don’t care about retro this and retro that.

I first bought an original grey 2kxl, and as SOON as the orange 2kxlse2 came out I copped it, sold the grey. I LOVED the orange uniqueness and I was happier, I made better beats cause I was happier, no joke. Unique > Retro imo.

The blue 1g2 act actually looks like a little studio 4k and better than the red color.

Speaking for myself and having the Live 2, I hate seeing fingerprints and smudges that the black pads show. I know it has nothing to do with making beats, but I like my gear looking like mint condition.

I have the original MPC 2000 that I bought in 1998 and the gray pads still look new and never show fingerprints. Plus I like the Old School look and that's why I would wait if another version is coming...
