Dilla and Shadow Mods

Was there ever a hardware or operating system mod that could be done to an MPC that was associated with either Dilla or Shadow?

not one that i have heard about... but i wouldn't be surprised if something could be made like having dilla or dj shadow written on start up.

Met a guy on Friday night from Sacramento, seemed full of stories, and some seemed a little tall. One was about how he used to do Dilla conversions and used to have MPC parts all over his place from working on them.

ok. well the other day i saw a guy online saying there was a 3rd party aftermarket firmware version for the 2000xl... kind of funny i haven't heard that mentioned on this forum before.
