The Pads on MPC 1000 VS MPC 2000 and MPD-16 ???????

Does Akai have different pads on different models??

I have heard that the MPD-16 has got stiffer pads than the MPC:s and that you have to hit them very hard to trigger right???

If they have different pads, can you recommend the best pads and why??

I am going to buy a MPC very soon but I live a long way from the nearest music store, so I need to know the modell with the best pads.


Is the pads softer and more playable on the MPC 1000, PC 2000 or MPD-16?????

the 1000s are nice the 2000s are bigger, there are more options on the 1000 than on the 2000. The 2000xl is probably the better way to go being that it has timestretching and zoning.
