I have edited mutiple loops in Recycle and exported (as wavs) it to a cdr (PC running XP). When I try to load the files into the MPC; it sees the files but no sounds are present.

BTW I formated the cdr before saving files.

The MPC will not read XP's built in burning-on-the-fly CD's. You need to use software such as Roxio or CDRWIN to create the CD's.

Good lookin out MPC 3000. When I get home later today I'll try using Roxio to see if it'll work.

Also, (shameless plug) try MPC Editor to import an AKP created from Recycle. It maps the samples into a program file that matches the midi file.

MPC 3000,

With the MPC editor I should not have to manually assign the sounds to the MPC pads after slicing and exporting midi file from Recycle?

BTW I tried your suggestion on using Roxio and it worked like a charm.

Good Looking out.
