mpc 2000xl question

I use my MPC 2000XL as a drum machine. I load in individual wav samples
and then make patterns to chain together for a song.
I then store my songs and patterns on the zip drive.
What i dont like is the fact i have to re-load every individual sample every time i power the unit up. Is there a way to save a song and the samples under one file on the zip drive so when i load the song in all the individual samples load in as well to there corresponding pad?
Also when i save the song it does not save my panning, individual levels
or selected outputs (I have the 8 out expansion)

save an aps. file. The aps file contains all programs and sounds but not any seq. or songs for that you have to save an all. file, i have'nt used the 2kxl for a while so im not 100% sure it's called an all. file

Yeah just save all programs and sounds and your sounds will load on the pads you had them on originally. You can't save output channels.
